SUMMARY

Ganikina S.. Hygienic assessment of the effectiveness of the sanitation of children and adolescents on the sea coast. Manuscript.

The thesis for candidate degree in medical sciences according to speciality 14.02.01 hygiene State Institution Institute of hygiene and medical ecology after O.M. Marzeev of Medical Sciences Academy of Ukraine, Kiev

The presented work deals with the solution of the pertinent scientific task - research on the health impact of the natural and athropogenic components of the environment on the coast of Black sea which are used for recreation. There were determined the peculiarities of the impact of the seacoast factors on the functional reserves of the organism of recreants, developed methodics for assessing the effectiveness of the sanitation of children and adolescents in the climatic resorts. The positive assessment of the recreation facilities of the northern-western part of Odessa harbor was given. There was shown that health state of children came for the recreation is characterised with the moderate decrease of the adaptation reserves which were more manifested amongst children living in the unfavorable environmental conditions. It was stated thet the changes of adaptation capacities are characterised with the increase of the index of functional changes up to 2,60,3, the index of the quality of reaction to 1,20,1, and decrease of the index of skin bactericidity up to 52-64%. After sanitation there were detected the normalised adaptation capabilities. Obtained evidence allowed to recommed the algorithm of the assessment of the effectiveness of the sanitation of children and adolescents which include both routine and additional non-invasive methods of the investigation (laser-correlation spectrometry).

Key words: sanitation, health of children and teenagers, sea environment.
